Mortar fire control complex “Derizher”

The mortar fire control complex consists of:

– Module A: basic (executive);

– Module B: auxiliary (computing);

Module A is mounted on the body of the rotary mechanism (sight bracket) of the mortar in the area of the best gunner visibility (or on the barrel of the mortar with a special mount). It is designed to operate in the three main modes:

– Horizon coordination;

– Sight alignment (taking into account the power of the warhead);

– Directional angle alignment.

Module B is designed to store the database, perform the necessary calculations and automatically transfer the calculation parameters to Module A using a shielded cable (or otherwise).

In order to optimize and automate the operation of the mortar fire control system, a tablet with protection levels of IP65 / IP67 / IP68 / IP69 is used as Module B.

The main expected computing functions:

1) Calculating the range to the target and target’s directional angle using the coordinates of cannons and the target.

2) Calculating target elevation.

3) Calculating the computed firing settings.

4) Determining the smallest charge.

5) Determining the sight value.

6) Transfer of the sight value (direction angle) to Module A using a wired or other communication channel.
